La Flotte en Ré market

With its colorful stalls, this medieval-inspired market is certainly the most unusual on the Ile de Ré. Set in a charming cobbled square, it offers a wide choice of local produce, from seafood to fresh vegetables.

The La Flotte-en-Ré market, open every day of the year from 7.30am to 1pm, is a must for gourmets.

Don’t miss the evening braderie on 3ᵉ Thursdays in July and August for exceptional offers on local produce, as well as late openings in high season.

All along the stalls, merchants offer visitors their regional specialities to taste on the spot, while sharing their know-how and knowledge of local products.

Marché du Bois Plage en Ré

The Bois-Plage-en-Ré market, the largest on the Ile de Ré, is open every morning from April to September, and on certain days the rest of the year. With almost 130 traders in summer, this market is a real treat for the taste buds, with a mix of local produce, textile stalls and children’s play areas.

Not far from our campsite, this market is ideal for stocking up on fresh produce during your stay, and strolling around in a friendly atmosphere.

Markets in La Couarde-sur-Mer

In La Couarde-sur-Mer, you can choose between two markets: Le Mail and Le Centre.

A multitude of merchants, each more friendly than the last, offer you an atmosphere of sparkling smells and colors. Strolling through these two markets on the Ile de Ré is a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds. You’ll discover a wide range of stalls selling delicatessen, fresh produce, flowers, fish and souvenirs.

Opening times and days vary according to the time of year, so don’t hesitate to ask for information at the town hall.

Loix market

The more intimate Loix market is a gem of local craftsmanship. Open every morning during school vacations and on certain days the rest of the year, this market offers unique food products and crafts to discover.

Les Portes-en-Ré market

The Portes-en-Ré market, the most popular on the island of Ré, offers a dynamic atmosphere with its varied stalls.

Open daily during school vacations and long weekends, this market is popular with locals and tourists alike for its food products and various wares.
